Smiley_Nick has released his Afghanistan Island on the BIS Forums.
This is an island that does not have any objects, so it's not populated, but a 'naked' version.
He is releasing this island for other island makers to populate it.
The island has 1024x1024 textures and realistic elevations.
As Smiley_Nick wants to specialize in these 'naked' islands, more of them are on their way. They will be made for Armed Assault though.

The island is a "Naked", allowing total customization to who ever wishes to make their mark.
The Island or land mass has been created using DEM's (Digital elevation models) to allow almost 100m meter definitions to real life terrain data.
